CitiFarmz™ is an innovative urban agriculture program that brings food production directly into cities, turning under utilized urban spaces into thriving centres of food, education, & economic opportunity. The program addresses critical challenges facing marginalised urban communities; food insecurity, unemployment, climate change, nutrition gaps & social cohesion by localizing food systems & empowering residents.

CitiFarmz™ establishes farms on vacant urban lots, & community spaces using adaptable, low-impact growing systems. Through techniques such as raised-bed farming, vertical cultivation, composting & efficient water use, the program maximizes productivity while minimizing land, energy, & resource consumption. Each farm is designed to be scalable, replicable & tailored to the unique needs of the community it serves.

Community engagement is central to this model. Local residents are trained in sustainable farming, food production & farm operations, enabling community ownership while creating green jobs & pathways to economic stability.

Our urban agriculture program reduces energy use and emissions by shortening food supply chains and lowering transportation & storage demands. It strengthens local livelihoods by creating employment within neighborhoods & supporting small-scale urban food enterprises. SkoolFarmz™ is a school-based urban farming program designed to integrate sustainable agriculture into educational environments. The project transforms available school spaces—such as courtyards, rooftops, gardens, or unused land—into productive learning farms that support education, nutrition & community development.

This school development project aims to enhance student learning while addressing key challenges such as food insecurity, environmental sustainability & skills development. By introducing agriculture into schools, SkoolFarmz™ creates hands-on learning opportunities that connect students to food systems, ecology & healthy living.

SkoolFarmz™uses practical, age-appropriate urban farming methods that are easy to maintain within a school setting. These include raised-bed gardens, container farming, vertical growing systems, composting, and water-efficient irrigation. The farming systems are designed to be safe, low-cost & adaptable to different school environments.

Teachers & students participate directly in planting, maintaining & harvesting crops as part of the learning process. The program aligns with school curricula by supporting subjects such as science, environmental studies, nutrition, mathematics & life skills. Training & guidance are provided to ensure long-term sustainability of the school farm.
